RENERGISING THE ART SCENE!

Contemporary Istanbul prepares to welcome springtime with CI Bloom, a new expo with a firm focus on contemporary art in Turkey.

23 contemporary art galleries will make appearances at CI Bloom, the expo that will be launched officially with a preview on 10-11 May, and the actual event taking place between 12 and 15 May at Tersane Istanbul.

The galleries included in the expo sponsored by Akbank are;
Ambidexter, Anna Laudel, Art On, artSümer, Bozlu Art Project; Bureau Sarigedik, C.A.M. Gallery, Dirimart, Ferda Art Platform, Gallery 77, MERKÜR, Gallery Siyah Beyaz, Galerist, Martch Art Project, Öktem Aykut, Pg Art Gallery, Pi Artworks, London; Piramid Sanat, Sanatorium, The Pill, Vision Art Platform, x-ist, Istanbul; Zilberman Gallery

The official selection committee for the galleries taking part in CI Bloom include the likes of
Adnan Yerebakan (Sanatorium), Doğa Öktem and Tankut Aykut (Oktem Aykut), Moiz Zilberman (Zilberman Gallery), Oktay Duran (Art On Istanbul), Suela Cennet (The Pill), Yeşim Turanlı (Pi Artworks).
