SANAYI313 & PG ART GALLERY MEET AT CONTEMPORARY ISTANBUL

Pg Art Gallery and Sanayi313’s collaboration continues during Contemporary Istanbul at Tersane. Pırıl Güleşçi Arıkonmaz, a passionate supporter of promising artists, will be at Contemporary Istanbul this year with a monochrome selection by artists recently signed by the gallery.

Sanayi313 envisaged a plain backdrop that would highlight this selection for the design of the exhibition area. White surfaces were preferred to provide a sense of infinity. Another consideration was to challenge the conventional “white cube” expo perception by creating a strong contrast with a central black pool installation and reflective surfaces.

Ali Şentürk, Buğra Erol, Derya Geylani Vuruşan, Gözde Can Köroğlu, Memo, Metin Ertürk, Sinem Demirci and Sevim Kaya, who currently has her exhibition at Pg Art Gallery, are the heroes of Güleşçi Arıkonmaz’s selection…
