“My Fairy Tale” at Ruzy Gallery
Reimagining Reality Through the Power of Fairy Tales
Ruzy Gallery invites audiences to explore the transformative power of storytelling with its new group exhibition, “My Fairy Tale.” On view from February 27 to April 20, 2025, the exhibition presents works by artists who reinterpret fairy tales as personal, social, and political metaphors. Bringing together storytelling and visual art, “My Fairy Tale”challenges perceptions of reality in both individual and collective memory. By embracing the ability of fairy tale imagery to disrupt societal norms, the exhibition creates a space where artists engage in conceptual and aesthetic exploration. The three-floor exhibition features works by Abrahamm Creative Studio, Gülin Karabacak, Kemal Özen, Nina Murashkina, Pamir Yıldıran, Sinan Çınar, Simay Bahçıvan, Vildan Hoşbak, and Xavier Escala, all specially created for Ruzy Gallery. Designed as an interdisciplinary platform for sharing and discussing art, Ruzy Gallery moves beyond conventional gallery aesthetics. With its transparent architecture and light-filled spaces, it fosters a new realm of interaction between artists and viewers.
